L’igiene delle mani viene identificata come una delle misure più importanti per prevenire la diffusione delle infezioni. Le società scientifiche internazionali e nazionali riconoscono il ruolo dell’igiene delle mani come misura fondamentale nel controllo delle infezioni, e sostengono costantemente questa pratica nell’ambito della sicurezza di pazienti, operatori e cittadini. Nel contesto dell’epidemia da nuovo Coronavirus SARS-Cov-2, la pratica dell’igiene delle mani, sia in ambito sanitario che in comunità, assume un’importanza ancora più cruciale.

Il Corso di Laurea in Infermieristica utilizza come metodi didattici le lezioni, le esercitazioni e le simulazioni. Nel triennio almeno 60 CFU sono dedicati all'apprendimento clinico detto tirocinio, le sedi sono convenzionate con l'Università e sono scelte per le opportunità formative che offrono agli studenti. Durante il tirocinio gli studenti infermieri sono seguiti da un Tutor Clinico e da un gruppo di Infermieri presenti nella struttura detti "Infermieri/Affiancatori Guida di Tirocinio".Il contributo degli Infermieri Guida è fondamentale durante tutto il periodo di tirocinio al fine di indicare tempestivamente agli studenti i punti di forza e eventuali criticità e spazi di miglioramento. Al termine del periodo di tirocinio il Tutor Clinico valuta il raggiungimento degli obiettivi avvalendosi dei dati forniti dagli Infermieri Guida che affiancano gli studenti nelle attività assistenziali.Questo percorso formativo è dedicato agli Infermieri Guida e ai Tutor Clinici che sostengono e valutano gli studenti in tirocinio.
